Hello
My name is Brittany Fuller. I am the owner of Leap of Faith Performing Arts & Galaxy Cheer. I joined the dance and cheer world in 2018 with Pirouettes Dance Academy. I began this journey as a parent, simply because my girls wanted to learn ballet and tumbling. I slowly got introduced to assisting with tiny classes, and all of a sudden I was helping run the cheer program. In 2024 I was given the opportunity to purchase the studio, so I told myself that if it was meant to be, God would allow it to happen. I wanted to be able to provide opportunities for the youth of our communities to have a safe space for self-expression. Cheer and dance may just be an extracurricular activity for some, but for a lot of kids it is their lifeline. I believe that self-expression through cheer and dance can be healing to our minds and bodies.

I live in Cherokee with my husband and our three daughters. My educational background includes nursing, psychology, and early childhood education. My professional background includes time as a CNA, Social Worker, and I am the current director of Kaleidoscope Dreams Daycare, which is a family-owned business in operation since 1999. I have spent many years being trained in the education of children. Other than my college degrees, I am also a certified All-Star Cheer Judge! My specialties include stunting for levels 1-3 and creative design choreography for all levels. I have worked with tiny humans and their grown ups in many capacities over the years but cheer and dance are just bonuses for me along this journey. I love to watch them learn.
My goal is to be a positive role model for the tiny humans I come in contact with. It is important to me that I teach people about respect, honesty, humility and kindness. These traits matter to me more than any dance or cheer routine ever could. I'm proud of the family I have made so far through cheer and dance, and I am beyond excited to see just how big this family can grow. It's not about the building or location we may be in every week, it's about the people we surround ourselves with.

About Us
Leap of Faith Performing Arts is an independently owned and operated Christian-based dance and cheer facility. We operate cheer and tumble out of the Swain County Rec Park Gym and operate dance and acro out of Kaleidoscope Dreams (Brittany's daycare in Cherokee) We take pride in providing dance and cheer instruction to children/adolescents, while incorporating Christian values into their experiences with us. We offer a wide variety of recreational dance classes that focus on ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, musical theater, and tumbling. In addition to recreational dance, we also offer competitive team dance and cheer opportunities.

We are also very excited to announce that we are transitioning the business into a Non-Profit Organization and expect to be fully operational in that capacity by December. As a Non-Profit, we will be able to get grants to help families cover the costs associated with dance and cheer and also get assistance in building a brand new facility!
